We’re back and today we’ve got mama of 2 Ali Myers, MSc, RD, CDE sharing her smoothie tips with us today. Ali is a Dietician and our go to guru for tips on getting more nutrient dense foods into our busy lives. Read on to up your smoothie game, what to use, how to use it and more importantly how to make smoothie making easy!

Smoothies are a great option for when you are on the go and you need a punch of nutrition. I encourage you to take the time to sit at the table and slowly enjoy your meals that involve having to CHEW. However, I get that sometimes that whole sitting down, taking your time isn't going to fly when you have other humans to look after. Smoothies can get in a lot of nutrition in a compact manner, which sure beats skipping a meal or grabbing a processed snack.

Instead of providing you with a smoothie recipe (I'm sure you've already pinned and screenshotted a million on your phone by now), I have created a little infographic for you to use and turn those college days mixologist skills into nutritious "smooth-ologist" skills. Best part? It's all REAL FOOD. You don't need a fancy powdered greens supplement to make you feel like you've achieved a higher health status... just throw some frozen spinach in there momma! Healthy eating does not have to be complicated, keep it SIMPLE.
